Create Growth N2 – Immersive Innovation Programme

3 day programme + bespoke small group & individual support.

This intensive 3-day programme is part of the Create Growth Nottingham project and delivered at the Virtual & Immersive Production Studio at the University of Nottingham. Participants will discover the powerful potential of harnessing immersive technologies in your business.

Suitable for: Game design & development companies, digital content development, Film, film related businesses, theatre tech support organisations, Marketing, brand development and promotions companies.

Participants will learn:

1. Innovation and Growth: Learn how to leverage immersive technologies to introduce new revenue streams and drive innovation.

Day 1. Introduction to Immersive Technology and the Experience Economy

 Step into the world of immersive innovation.

This session explores how immersive technologies—like XR, spatial computing, and experiential design—are transforming industries. Learn how the experience economy is reshaping customer and audience expectations, and discover how immersive tools can enhance business growth and creative impact.

Deep Dive – Immersive Sound Techniques || AI & Creative Practice

Hear. Feel. Create.

Experience immersive sound through a practical, hands-on workshop. Explore spatial audio, binaural sound, and sonic environments that deepen emotional engagement. Then shift into an interactive exploration of AI in creative workflows—experimenting with tools that support ideation, prototyping, and production.

Days 2 and 3. Deep Dive – Performance Capture & Asset Creation         

Bring ideas to life in motion.

Gain practical experience in motion capture, volumetric video, and 3D asset creation. Understand how to plan, record, and edit performance data. Use these tools to craft immersive, animated content that elevates your storytelling, design, or product.

Bespoke Support – Immersive Futures

Shape your immersive roadmap.
With expert support, you’ll develop and record a compelling pitch deck that maps your future use of immersive technologies. Whether you’re aiming to prototype, fund, or scale your next idea, this session helps you tell the story of what comes next.

Eligibility

• Your business must be based in Nottingham or Nottinghamshire.
• Your business must operate in the Creative, Digital, or Creative Technology sector.
• Must have been trading for a minimum of 1 year.
• Must be generating turnover.
• Have a minimum of two employees (this includes freelancers).

Create Growth N2 (CGN2) offers creative, digital and creative technology businesses based in Nottingham, unique programs and access to a wide range of specialised business support.
